It has been a good long while since I filmed other meets, but with the demise of Cars and Coffee I need to branch out and see how other events shoot, and how well they do after the video is uploaded.
It was fun shooting a meet that has no exit runs, just straight stationary and parking lot speed shots. We lost the light rather quick, but the camera did surprisingly well with the lighter colored cars. I had shot some darked colored cars and had to cut the footage out because they didn’t come out.
I also realized I left my dashcam running after the show, it died and it was on loop recording, but it still got a few cars which was pretty cool.
